Hi, I'm April

Just your friendly photographer based out of the Fraser Valley. There are so many breathtaking views and wonderful people on God's beautiful earth that are just waiting to be captured. I am a wife and a mama to our THREE beautiful children - Benji, Evelyn and Shepherd. I graduated from UFV with my Social Services Diploma and worked as an education assistant in the Chilliwack School District. However, I have recently quit my job at the district to pursue photography and motherhood full-time. In fact, if you book a maternity/newborn/family shoot I would love to talk about all things motherhood. From your birth story, to what your kiddo's nap schedule is I want to hear it all. I am going to blame motherhood for making me a softy too because I am almost guaranteed to cry at your wedding. It's super sappy but I love love. What can I say!? I want to be there for you on your big day and this ain't my first rodeo so you are basically getting a wedding planner and an extra bridesmaid if you hire me for your wedding. I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. However, I held off making it a business for a long time in fear that I was just jumping on the bandwagon, there are already so many photographers out there so what's the point? But I quickly realized that was ridiculous because photography brings so much joy to my life. And even if only a few people asked me to photograph them, it was worth it. But then, years later, countless families and couples have trusted me with capturing their weddings, life, growing kids etc. and I am truly thankful for every client.
